Hawaii

We had the chance to go to Hawaii at the end of January.  Two other couples from our ward went with us, which made is twice as  AWESOME!  I already want to go back (that's normal, right?).  This was our first time going  to Kauai, we loved it of course!

We stayed at the Marriott in Lihu'e for 5 nights and then went up to Princeville for 2 nights. Here is the view from our room.

And of course, the amazing Conway's!!  :)  This picture was taken at the Hyatt in Po'ipu.  That place was AMAZING!  I would love to stay over there next time.

It's so funny, everywhere on the island there are roosters.  I mean like it's ridiculous.  At first it was kinda cute, but then it just got annoying.  This bike belongs to this old crazy man who feeds them.  

We were there over the Superbowl.  The Marriott had TVs set up outside, we made sure we got there early and saved front row seats.  It was a lot of fun watching it, to bad the Cardinals didn't win!

Jake went golfing a couple of time's over there.  One day the rest of us went to the "cheap" course and golfed.  We had a blast!  The view's were amazing!

This was at the Kilauea light house looking towards Princeville.

We went a couple of hikes.  This was on the Jurassic Park hike.  I can't remember the real name but the start of the hike is at the gate into Jurassic Park.

Food, Food, Food!  We love to eat food!  Here is our favorite breakfast spot.  Jake's parents found it when they came last year and told us to try it.  We ate there 3 times!  It's cheap and SO good!

They have the best pancakes ever!  Even better than Konos (if you know where that is)!

This was Jake's favorite little food shack.  It's over in Hanalei Bay in Princeville.  The best Mexican taco's and burritos.   They guy's only there from 12-3pm so you gotta get there on time!

They guy's went surfing one day.  That was fun to watch!

What a cutie!

Everyone (but Jake, he was golfing) went on a helicopter ride.  I was terrified!  We waited until the end of the trip to do it and those day's were cloudy, windy, rainy, everything you don't want for a helicopter ride.  It turned out to be really fun and totally cool!  We saw so many more waterfalls because of all the rain.  The Na Pali Coast was awesome!  I would defiantly do it again!

I was so excited to go on the hike along the Na Pali Coast.  Unfortunately we waited until the end of the trip (like the helicopter ride) and it was raining.  We didn't get to go to the waterfalls because the trail was to wet and slippery.  It was so beautiful and I want to go back and do the whole thing.  I would go back to Kauai just for that hike, there's nothing like it!

Lot's of rainbow's that day with all the rain!  AMAZING!    We had such a fun time and can't wait to plan our next trip!!   ALOHA!!!
